Which Houston neighborhoods are walkable?+
Montrose, The Heights, Rice Village, Midtown, and Downtown have real walkability. Most of Houston is car-dependent, so if walkability matters, stick to these neighborhoods.
How do I find a Houston apartment not in a flood zone?+
We check FEMA flood maps and property flood history before recommending anywhere. The Heights, Montrose, and The Woodlands are generally safe. We steer clear of historically flooded properties unless they've been rebuilt.
What's a good budget for a Houston 1-bedroom?+
$1,100 to $1,400 gets you a solid 1-bedroom in Midtown, The Heights, or Galleria. Under $1,000 is possible in Energy Corridor or more suburban areas. $2,000+ puts you in River Oaks or luxury downtown towers.
Are Houston apartments pet-friendly?+
Most are, but breed restrictions and weight limits vary widely. We'll filter to only properties that accept your specific pet and note the pet rent and deposit fees upfront.
Can you help with last-minute Houston moves?+
Absolutely. We can find and tour 5-10 properties in a single day for urgent moves. Many Houston complexes can approve you same-day and let you move in within 48 hours.
Real people. Real apartments. Zero fees.
They knew exactly which Houston buildings fit my budget and pulled a one-month-free special I never would have found on my own. Totally free to me. Still can't believe it.
